Dr Tim Clayton’s private dermatology clinics are supported by a strong nursing and administration team. The skin is complex and less qualified doctors who are not trained consultant dermatologists are prone to miss-diagnosis.
DR TIM CLAYTON - Expert UK DERMATOLIGST
From 1 October 2026, Dr Clayton’s main private dermatology clinic will be based at 125 Deansgate, Manchester. He will continue to undertake his skin surgery and diagnostic procedures at Pall Mall Medical on King Street. In addition, he has an established clinic at Pennant Private Medical in North Wales, where he consults mainly at weekends.
Consultations and Patient Care
Dr Clayton offers both face-to-face and virtual dermatology consultations. Virtual appointments are straightforward to access and do not require patients to download additional software. Please see our Virtual Dermatology page for further information.
Dr Clayton is a GMC-registered specialist in both adult and paediatric dermatology and has worked as an NHS Consultant Dermatologist since 2007. He is recognised by the major private medical insurers and is Bupa Fee Assured.
