Dupilumab getting closer

I have now been able to treat 12 patients with severe eczema with Dupilumab. The results are highly encouraging and some of my patients who I have known for over 10 years with sever eczema are actually disease free and symptom free now as a result. There is still a long way to go but these early results of mine are very positive. Later this year NICE will publish its document and hopefully pave the way for easier access to this life changing medication.

There are a number of other drugs both topical, systemic and biologic in development for the use in severe atopic dermatitis. It looks like finally my patients with severe eczema have some new and hopeful treatment options.
